Frequently Asked Questions About The InfraPure & The InfraSculpt

 

1. Is there any scientific proof of the efficacy of LED light therapy?
 

NASA scientists first utilized the power of LED light technology to spur plant growth in space. NASA researchers then discovered that this technology exerted similar beneficial physiological effects on human cells. NASA research spurred scientists, clinicians and doctors looking for effective skincare treatments to try it on their patients. Domestic and international studies regarding light therapy for skincare treatments are bearing out the positive results that NASA scientists initially discovered. LED light therapy has been thoroughly tested, evaluated and validated by hundreds of universities, medical clinics and NASA. 2. What areas can be treated?


For The InfraPure, treatments can be administered to any part of the skin. They are especially effective for improving the appearance of the face, neck and chest, but on any patches of skin suffering from such conditions as Psoriasis or Eczema.

 

For The InfraSculpt, this is more suitable for the body such as arms, thighs, breasts, waist, hips etc, and each treatment tackles different parts for you.


3. Is The InfraPure  and InfraSculpt safe?


Yes totally. LED light therapy technology has been cleared by the FDA and the FCC, is safe and completely non-invasive. The effective energy levels emitted are well below OSHA and ANSI/IES standards.  Please just ensure you follow the instructions provided for each treatment. Also CE Regulated and ISO9001.


4. How is LED light therapy different from laser treatments?


LED light therapy is non-invasive and completely non-thermal.  As opposed to laser treatments, with LED light therapy there is no pain, no downtime, no side effects and no possibility of skin damage.


5. Are treatments painful?


No not in the slightest. Treatments do not result in any pain or discomfort whatsoever. Most individuals find the mild heat generated during treatments to be soothing and relaxing. Under normal operating conditions, the temperature remains under 100 °F.


6. Can I use skincare products in conjunction with light therapy?


Yes. As other skin care treatments beautify the skin’s surface, light therapy strengthens and rejuvenates tissue from within. So results will be achieved faster and be more dramatic if light treatment is complemented by high quality skincare products. Please note however, that many skincare products today use ingredients with light-reflecting properties which could diminish the optimal benefits of light therapy treatments. Therefore, make sure to thoroughly cleanse your skin of impurities before treatment.  For the InfraSculpt an appropriate skin care product is essential prior to use, not only as and excellent conducting medium, but also provides the skin with the required nutrients.


7. Are the results achieved permanent?


With consistent use, one should be able to maintain the improvements achieved.


8. How soon can I expect to see results?


Individual results may vary depending on physical condition, age, skin condition, diet, alcohol consumption, smoking etc. However, the skin may start to look different even after the first treatment – your skin will appear smoother and more hydrated with a natural radiant glow. Most individuals see noticeable results in 2 to 3 weeks, and many see initial improvement in as little as 1 week. 11. Can I take The InfraPure  or InfraSculpt with me when I travel?


Yes, the device’s weight, design and compact form make traveling easy. The InfraPure has a dual converter, and with a compatible plug adaptor you can use it anywhere in the world.


12. Is The InfraPure or InfraSculpt appropriate only for individual use?


The benefits of the devices can be shared by the whole family. On The InfraPure, LED treatment panels are easily interchangeable to provide different skincare solutions to expand your light therapy treatment regime.  The InfraSculpt has three built in therapies, so you can choose what is best needed for you.


13. Is there any UV danger when using the device?


No. The InfraPure and InfraSculot do not use UV light. The light rays that are emitted from The InfraPure & InfraSculpt are beneficial for your skin, as they contain no UV rays. The problem with getting these same light rays from the sun is that you also get the harmful UV rays. These harmful rays can do more damage to your skin than good.


14. Why isn't The InfraPure battery-operated?


The InfraPure's safe and effective, high-output LEDs require much more power than LEDs used in battery-operated handheld devices. Using a battery to operate The InfraPure would drain the battery of its optimum power within minutes.  In saying that, once the InfraPure is charged, it can be used handf frees, making treatment even easier.

 

15.  What is the Guarantee for The InfraPure & InfraSculpt

 

Both devices come with a one year guarantee.  In the rare occasion there is a problem, please advise us in writing, either via email or online form, of the issues.  Then please arrange for the item to be returned to us within 14 days of notifying us of the problem.  As soon as it reaches our offices, and there is a fault, we will then ship a replacement out to you next day delivery.
